Fall 2012 saw designers mix textiles,
combining leather, tweed wool, velvet, fur and other fabrics. There was one
notably eclectic mish mash of textile, featured heavily on Jean Paul Gaultier’s
menswear collection. This also included a brick wall print which also appeared
on Moschino and Jeremy Scott’s collections. Jean Paul Gaultier says he likes
the English brick print, which apparently is made of flowers. Not sure you can
see that from these images, it would be interesting to see a close up of the
textile. He adds “Suburban meets the City. Here is a selection of this artistic
