The 1920s is the same era that gave birth to a new type of independent women. Finally women where free from their corsets and wore more loosely fitting clothes like the flapper, they even started wearing sporty clothes which were made popular by designers like Coco Chanel. The hemlines started out quite modest, but as the decade progressed it rose steadily to the point where knees where exposed.For Spring Summer 2012 we see the revival of the 1920s particularly its key elements.
