Giuseppe Zanotti's african inspired Spring Summer 2012 collection.

Italian shoe designer Giuseppe Zanotti showcased his latest collection for Spring Summer 2012 at Milan fashion week. Despite the designs being similar to previous collections, the array of ethnic colours made this collection stand on its own.

Zanotti mentioned how he had drawn inspiration from an African woman who is contaminated with African culture from back in the 70’s, that how he saw this collection. He noted how the collection had a new identification story from symbolism to the 1970s. He also went on to mention how his good friend Kanye West was an influence in putting together the cool fabric sneakers collection. There are lots of African details with 70s shapes, the shoes are economic, more sexy, more sweet, and more colorful. There is also jewelry. Here is a preview video of the collection.
